The Saturday Mothers group meets at 12pm every Saturday at Galatasaray district to protest against the forced disappearances and political murders of their loved ones during the 1980s and 1990s. They are calling for government accountability and wish to raise awareness about state-sponsored violence and militarism in Turkey.
